Here’s your chance to see what the inside of the Ottawa Tool Library looks like. The Open House lets you see the actual library of tools, the Workspace where classes are held and all of the tools, new and vintage, available for purchase through their WebStore.
And don’t forget to bring your e-waste with you to drop off and get recycled.

The Ottawa Tool Library is Ottawa’s volunteer-driven, member-funded tool lending library where you can borrow tools, learn new skills, and find space to work on your next project.
It also offers something for everyone. They have a variety of workshops to learn skills, gain confidence, and create functional, every day objects to display in your home or give as a gift. They also offer safety courses, demo nights, garage sales, and other events too, such as Repair Cafés, which are a great way to keep items out of landfills, pick up handy skills, and connect with fellow community members. From patching up clothing to fixing up small appliances, their amazing volunteers are here to help breathe new life into your well-loved things!
Next Repair Café is on Saturday, October 17th from 10am – 2pm
at the Richelieu Vanier Community Centre
