City Councillor Riley Brockington and the Carlington Community Association are hosting a series of events in Raven Park on Friday, August 8, 2025.
11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Raven Park Wading Pool
City of Ottawa’s Special Events Day at the pool includes arts and crafts, games and a bouncy castle.
1:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Cotton Candy and Bouncy Castles
Bounce and eat while quantities last..
4:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Community Information Table
Visit with various community groups to ask questions, pick up information and resources and see what’s available in your neighbourhood.
4:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Community Barbeque plus Party (courtesy of Councillor Brockington and the CCA)
Enjoy a delicious barbeque with halal, veggie or beef hot dogs, while quantities last. Fruit will be offered as well.
5:00 – 6:30 p.m. – Bubble Show
You won’t want to miss this fun-filled bubble-tastic performance!
7:00 p.m. – SHOWTIME – Shakespeare in the Park
A Company of Fools presents Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors”. Stage located on the west side of the park (McBride St). A freewill offering will be collected. (Suggested amount: $20.)
