The current Carlington Pump Station will be replaced by the new Morisset Avenue Pump Station (MAPS) which will be built just south of the old one on top of Carlington Hill. Once the new MAPS is operational, the old Pump Station will be demolished. The new MAPS is needed to improve the reliability of the supply of water and emergency water supply to the City’s various drinking water pressure zones.
