As mentioned in a previous post, there will be elections for several positions on the Board at the CCA Annual Members Meeting on Thurday, May 15, 2025. Several Board members’ two-year terms will be up and they will not be continuing in their positions. This includes the position of Chair and several Director positions.
The CCA has sent out a call for nominations to all residents of Carlington. Being a Board member does require some dedication; it is estimated that a Board member will spend 50 hours per year on Association activities.
Just to recap: The Chair (formerly President) is the only person who gets elected to that particular position; all other successful nominees will be Board members and will meet with current Board members at a meeting after the election to discuss who will get which position, depending on skill sets, interests, etc.
