2026 CCA Grant

Do you want to help build a greener, safer, better Carlington?

The CCA supports small-scale, community-led projects that take place in Carlington or directly benefit Carlington residents through the CCA Grant.

The CCA Grant provides up to $2,000 in total funding which may be awarded to one or more selected community projects.

Please use the online Application Form to submit your grant proposal to the Carlington Community Association’s Board of Directors for review. Applications are open until April 15, 2026, and recipients will be announced at the CCA Members Meeting on May 28, 2026.

Who is eligible to apply for the grant?

Any individual may apply for the CCA Grant. To be eligible, projects must take place within Carlington and/or directly benefit Carlington residents.

How much funding is available?

In 2026, there is a total of $2,000 available for the grant. The Association expects to support one or more initiatives, subject to the number and quality of applications received. Applicants may apply for any amount up to the total available funding.

Can I apply for more than one project?

Applicants may apply for as many projects as they wish. Multiple small projects may be included in one submission; however, in this case they will be considered together as one single application. Submitting multiple projects does not guarantee additional funding.

When should I apply?

Grant applications will be accepted from February 15 to April 15, 2026.

How do I apply?

Applications are made through the online Application Form. 

When will the successful proposals be announced?

Successful applications will be announced at the CCA’s May 28, 2026, General Meeting.

What happens if my application is successful?

Successful applicants will be required to sign an agreement with the CCA outlining the expectations and responsibilities of both parties. This will include information related to: reimbursement, project implementation, and a brief post-project update.

Does my project have to be completed before November 30, 2026?

Ideally, projects will be implemented within six months of the Grant being awarded. However, alternative schedules may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
