Welcome to spring! As a new season begins, it also means that the 2021 Carlington Community Association (CCA) Annual General Meeting is right around the corner, when the CCA will be electing several new Directors.
A nomination committee was struck at the last General Meeting in February 2021. The CCA is seeking community members to stand for election to the Board of Directors. If you would like to stand for election (or if you have any questions about the election), please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Anyone who is a resident of Carlington and who is a member of the CCA can be elected to the Board. Just to give you an idea about the time commitment involved in being a Board member, it’s at least 50 hours per year.
At the upcoming May 2021 AGM, CCA members will elect the President and four (4) board members to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is made up of nine (9) members: the President and eight (8) Directors. All Directors and the President serve staggered two-year terms. At this AGM, four (4) members plus the President will be voted on for new terms from May 2021 to May 2023, while the remaining members will be finishing their second year of their two-year terms.
Resigning Board Members:
President: Charity Bartlett

Please note: both you and the person voting for you must be members of the CCA. (To become a member of the CCA. please see: Membership.)
