All of us on the Carlington Community Association Board of Directors want to keep you informed and ask for your help to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

For the time being, all recreational and community centres are closed. Meetings and activities, including those of Carlington Community Association, have been cancelled or postponed.

We’ve been told that schools, businesses, etc., will be closed until Monday, April 6, but really what will actually happen on that date is up in the air for now.

Based on what we hear on April 6 (and afterwards as well), the CCA will send out emails and post info to Facebook and to this website regarding re-opening of facilities and activities.

We know these are difficult and frightening times. The best way to prevent COVID-19 from spreading is to stay home and/or limit the number of excursions outside your home.

Also, please remember to look out for each other. If you are going grocery shopping or to the pharmacy, contact by phone people you know are isolated and consider delivering things they need, while keeping a physical distance where possible.

Stay well and safe,
CCA Board of Directors
