CARLINGTON COMMUNITY SAFETY NIGHT October 27th

River Ward Councillor Riley Brockington invites residents, business owners, community groups and local organizations to join him at a Carlington Safety Night on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Alexander Community Centre.

The evening will feature three guest presentations from the Carlington Community Health Centre, Ottawa Community Housing, and the Ottawa Police Service about what they are doing in the community in light of recent high profile events. The focus of the evening is to discuss how crime issues in Carlington are being addressed, what is working well, what are the challenges, what resources are available and how can the local community get more involved.

Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions.

WHY: To bring community together to learn about what is being done by the Ottawa Police Service, Ottawa Community Housing and the Carlington Community Health Centre to address community safety issues and to discuss additional ways the community can get involved.
