Christmas Baskets for Carlington

November 19th, 2018 No comments

Carlington Residents,

Last year in 2017 many Carlington residents generously donated funds and gifts in kind for the Christmas Baskets which the Caldwell Family Centre gives to those in need in Carlington. It is that time of year for it to happen again. The CCA Board encourages residents to make donations directly to the Caldwell Family Centre so that tax receipts can be issued for donations. Let us again show our Christmas Spirit.

You can donate online and in the message, direct it to the Annual Christmas Drive or donate directly to the Caldwell Family Centre at 1100 Medford St Units 20-22, Ottawa, ON K1Z 8L5. Phone 613 728 1800.

Carlington Park Clean Up

October 31st, 2018 Comments off

On Saturday, October 13th, at least 10 people participated in the Carlington Park, Environmental Protected Zone, and Reservoir Compound clean up. Volunteers amassed several garbage bags of detritus left in the bush and along the roadsides. The great advantage to daily attention by committed volunteers is that the park itself required much less effort. Coffee and prizes were supplied by Starbucks, seed packets from Ritchie Feed and Seed.
