We all need to keep making those reports. I've done about 50 so far this year. The faster we get rid of it, the better.

Hi there,

I can't be at the AGM (wedding preparations underway) however I would like to be more active. I am interested seeking election to the board but would also be happy on a committee. Strengths include writing, PR, research, events, issues management. Would be happy to meet after the May long weekend (wedding/honeymoon will be over) to discuss. Cheers.

Quite often self-hatred is the cause celebre for both victim and victimizer since disrespect often doesn't have the confidence to try and hurt someone who is not so vulnertable as society the system as I call it destroyed the already vulnerable and misery is always up to now compounded as what you have in any bank gets interest.

Mathew, you can sign up using the form at www.carlingtoncup.ca. Alternatively, you can just show up tomorrow at the Alexander Community Centre for 1pm. We'll be there and last minute additions will be welcome! Remember to bring your stick, a helmet and skates. We'll have ice, food and a team to place you with!

Look forward to seeing you there.

<a href="#comment-82" rel="nofollow">@E.D. </a>
This is the city we are talking about. With the head building inspector being a lawyer, there is no benefit in providing a solution. Will be years to fix.

The By-law requires that property owners remove graffiti from their property within a minimum of 7 days after receiving notice from the City. If a property owner chooses not to remove the graffiti within the specified time frame, contractors may be hired by the city to remove the graffiti. Associated costs will be added to the property owners’ municipal tax bill.

Following up on my previous comment, according to the city of Ottawa website link, there is no graffiti squad; The city will provide you with cleaning materials upon request for cleaning city/public property only. If you report graffiti on private property, city bylaw sends the property owner a demand to clean the graffiti within 7 days.

Thanks for these links, but are they falling on deaf ears?

The shed on the experimental farm facing Merivale sat completely covered in graffiti all summer(I think it's still there)

The graffiti problem is really getting out of hand over the last month; there are at least 6 new large sprayings on Merivale between Kirkwood and Shillington.
