If a property owner chooses not to remove the graffiti within the specified time frame, contractors may be hired by the city to remove the graffiti. Associated costs will be added to the property owners’ municipal tax bill. If you report graffiti on private property, city bylaw sends the property owner a demand to clean the graffiti within 7 days. The shed on the experimental farm facing Merivale sat completely covered in graffiti all summer(I think it's still there) The graffiti problem is really getting out of hand over the last month; there are at least 6 new large sprayings on Merivale between Kirkwood and Shillington.
