ChristmasLightsMap

We think the neighbourhood is looking especially bright & festive this year and lots of folks are taking advantage of the mild weather to get out and enjoy the lights.

We’ve put together a “Carlington Light Walk” map to help guide the way but we want to add more sites.

Click on the map to add locations we may have missed (login with your G-mail account) or email us your address and we’ll do it for you.

Come on out and walk the ‘hood! It’s sure to brighten your night!

Thank You Neighbours!

After the kitchen fire in their Caldwell apartment last week, we are so grateful to know that our young neighbours (twin toddlers) are safe this holiday season and extend huge thanks to the brave Carlington residents who helped make this near tragedy a good news story instead.

Please note that the Caldwell Family Centre (http://caldwellfamilycentre.ca/) is nearby to help this family and many others in need throughout the year. They are worthy of your support and will make great things happen with your donation! Please consider supporting!

December 7th, 2015 Comments off

WestgateDo you want to see the plans for Westgate? Come out to the Best Western Hotel on Carling from 6-8pm!

The owners of Westgate Shopping Centre, RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust [RioCan], & their consultants will present "RioCan's future vision for Westgate Shopping Centre."

The public meeting preceeds applications soon to be submitted to the City of Ottawa.

The meeting will be an open-house format with display boards and opportunities to have informal discussions with RioCan, the consulting team (architects, planners, transportation engineers) and municipal planning staff.
