Remember the W.E. Gowling Indigo Adopt a School Campaign? Remember how the whole community came together in a BIG way to support our local Public School? Let's celebrate our shared success (they were the 5th place school among hundreds of Ontario-based schools and WON the blog challenge -- thanks to the abundant Carlington Community Support)!
Join us at Pinecrest Chapters Tomorrow Night (Nov.25th from 6-9pm) for a Carlington celebration! Do your Holiday shopping and have 20% of your purchase go back to WE Gowling for library and literacy resources.
See you there!
The City of Ottawa is asking for your feedback regarding the draft paper of the minimum parking requirements. Carlington would be part of the inner urban area "X" where residential properties up to 12 units and non-residential uses up to 200 square meters (2200 square feet) on the ground floor require no parking spaces. Along Carling And Merivale (area "Y") all low rise residential units, non residential use up to 500 square meters and retail food stores up to 1000 square meters would be exempt.
For more information download the Discussion Paper and watch the Minimum Parking Review Video
Deadline for comments is December 18th.
