Sign up as a team or as an individual! Get involved and volunteer!
The Carlington Community Association is thrilled to announce the second annual Carlington Cup will be hosted at the Alexander Park rink on Saturday January 26th at 1pm. While many more details are yet to come, we're throwing open the floodgates to team registration and calling for volunteer help! Get involved!
This is a FREE event and all are welcome. Register as a team, as a single player or to join as a spectator below.
You're invited to take part in a day of old-fashioned Canadian hockey, the way it used to be played when friends, neighbours and total strangers would meet up at the local rink, catch up over a cup of something warm and make the most out of the long, cold Ottawa winter. We’re bringing back that sense of community and we want you to be part of it!
Register as a team, an individual or join as a spectator. Watch friends and neighbours compete for the honour of raising the Carlington Cup for the very first time and take part in fun and games for the whole family. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

It has been brought to the attention of the Carlington Community Association that the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has made a proposal to re-evaluate the boundaries of W.E. Gowling with the possibility of the school having a french immersion option.
A small group of parents are working together to bring forward their thoughts on the matter and are hoping to get the backing of our community. The first meeting is Dec. 12th and it would be great to have a representative from the Carlington Community Association to help give our community a voice.
A first meeting (Meet & Greet get together) of the group has now been Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday December 12, 2012, 6:00 pm 2nd Floor Mezzanine - Ottawa-Carleton District School Board 133 Greenbank Road.
The composition of the working committee that is being formed is to consist of:
- One (1) representative from each school community: i.e. school council chair and a designated alternate should representative be absent
- One (1) representative from each Community Association:
- Civic Hospital Neighbourhood Association
- Dalhousie Community Association
- Hintonburg Community Association
- Westboro Beach Community Association
- Westboro Community Association
